Since I had other activities, I could not write an article. However, when I opened my blog, in shoutbox, one of my friends, call him Muchamad Amrullah asked a question like this, “How can we place Facebook badge to our blog so everyone can access it?”. Here is the screenshot of the question:
To fulfill Muchamad’s desire, in this post, I will try to explain how to make visitors can access Facebook through our blog.
Now the problem is that many of us do not know how to install the badge of Facebook profile in blog. Therefore, in this chance, I would like to give you a guide to create Badge of Facebook Profile. Please follow this guideline:
- Log in to Facebook with your account
- Click Profile tab in the upper menu
- See the left bottom side. Click Create a Profile Badge
- On the page of Facebook Badges, click the button of Create a New Badge, then you will be on the page of creating your profile badge.
- By Default, the display of your profile badge in the vertical direction, but you can change it into the horizontal direction by clicking the radio button on Layout.
- On the item part, by default, you are provided with three fields that you can change as you want by clicking the dropdown menu. You can either add or reduce the items. If you want to add, just click Add Item, and if you want to reduce or remove the items, click remove.
- If you are sure with your profile badge, click Save, then you will see the page as the screenshot below:

- Login to Blogger with your ID, and on the Dashboard click Layout of the blog you want to install your Facebook Profile Badge. See the image
- After you click the Layout, be sure that you are in the Page Element, and please add a new gadget by clicking Add a Gadget. See the image below.
- In the dialog box, you will have some options. Choose the HTML/JavaScript by clicking the sign plus (+). When the Configuration HTML/JavaScript appears, paste the code of Facebook Profile Badge that you have copied, then click Save
For the placement of Facebook Profile Badge, please arrange yourself.
- The last step is to see the result of your work by clicking View tab, and now you have Facebook Profile Badge in your blog.
With the Facebook Profile Badge in your blog, your visitors and you can access facebook easily, by only clicking the Facebook Profile Badge. To see the example of Facebook Profile Badge, please click here.
