I am very annoyed when I have to queue to meet the tellers in a bank through a crowd control. I should stand up for long time before I stand face to face with bank teller. I often complain to the officials and staffs there, but they seem very slow to response. I think the crowd control is very suitable for some events such as musical concerts, political events, and grocery stores. Fortunately, not all banks and other public places in my town apply and install the crowd control. Many of them apply the modern queuing system.
I also attend musical concerts because I am fond of listening and watching musical show. Moreover, my favorite singers and bands are on the stage. That’s perfect because I can enter the musical show rooms orderly due to the crowd control such as velvet rope, retractable belts, stanchions, etc. Maybe you often attend such events and find the crowd controls to make the queuing controlled.
Another tool or device to make a good order is barricade. You can see the barricades on the roads when there is road maintenance, for instance.
